We know, we know… it’s almost October…
However, the whole universe conspired against the release of this particular update…
We overcame it all, from having to wait for a code signing certificate that took seven months to arrive by mail (yes, by mail, in 2025, and it only just arrived a couple of hours ago), to having to deal with plenty of time-consuming but necessary internal restructuring procedures, to tackling a never-ending rewrite of Clash Preventor that would have sucked the life out of Zeus himself.
And now, we’re glad to announce that all our apps have just been released, and have been upgraded to major new versions, and that all of them now support Revit 2026, and, as always, are digitally signed so that you can be sure our binaries and installers are trustworthy and not tampered with…
They are available on our own App Store, and you may download them all right away.
They have been submitted to the Autodesk App Store too and should be available there as well soon enough. The question is when… last year, the Autodesk App Store reviewers were relatively fast to release the updates, but the year before, it was a disaster... only time will tell...
For now, what we are really, really excited about is v5.0 of Bird Tools - Clash Preventor, which is just too good to be true. It deserves its own series of posts, which we will be gradually publishing on a weekly basis. But for now, we’ll let you explore those features on your own.
